A Big Year for Easyweigh and Foodman
2025 has already been a milestone year for Easyweigh and its subsidiary Foodman. From August 20–22, our team proudly showcased our innovative food inspection and weighing solutions at VIETFISH 2025 (Hall A, Booth No: 2500–2500A, SECC, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam). Just a few weeks later, we continued the momentum at Seafood Expo Asia (September 10–12, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore).
For us, these weren’t just exhibitions. They were opportunities to connect with seafood processors, manufacturers, and distributors from around the world—and to demonstrate how cutting-edge technology like our food metal detector, fish x ray solutions, and checkweigher machines are changing the future of food safety and efficiency.
Why These Exhibitions Matter
If you’ve ever walked through a seafood processing plant, you know how much care goes into keeping food fresh and safe. However, traditional inspection methods often fall short. That’s why exhibitions like VIETFISH and Seafood Expo Asia matter so much: they give companies a chance to explore smarter, safer, and faster technologies.
When people stopped by our booth, many asked, “Can a metal detector detect all types of foreign objects?” Or, “How does an x ray inspection system work for fish products?” These are exactly the kinds of conversations that inspire us. Because the truth is, modern consumers don’t just want food that tastes good—they expect it to be 100% safe.
Spotlight on Easyweigh’s Innovative Solutions
At both exhibitions, our team highlighted a range of machines designed to tackle real-world problems in seafood processing. Here’s a quick overview of what we showcased:
Food Metal Detector Systems
When people think about contamination, they often imagine something obvious, like a broken piece of machinery ending up in food. But the reality is more subtle. Even the tiniest fragment of metal can pose a huge safety risk. That’s why our food metal detector line is designed with high sensitivity, ensuring that if there’s even the smallest piece of foreign metal, the metal detector detect it instantly.
Fish X-Ray and Advanced X-Ray Inspection
Seafood is notoriously tricky to process because of bones, shells, and the delicate texture of fish. That’s where fish x ray technology comes in. Unlike older methods, our x ray inspection system doesn’t damage the product—it simply scans it to spot bones, glass, or other hard contaminants. It’s like giving every fillet an invisible shield of protection.
For one curious visitor, we explained it like this: imagine you’re buying a pack of salmon for dinner. Wouldn’t you feel reassured knowing it had been passed through a reliable x ray inspection system? That’s the kind of peace of mind our solutions deliver.
Vision Inspection Machine
Visual quality matters just as much as safety. A vision inspection machine checks for labeling errors, missing seafood packaging, or surface defects that could affect customer satisfaction. Think of it as the sharp-eyed inspector who never gets tired.
Checkweighers for Accuracy and Compliance
Of course, safety isn’t the only priority. Accuracy matters, too. No consumer wants to pay for a 500g pack of shrimp that only contains 480g. Our checkweigher machine ensures every package meets exact weight requirements.
During the exhibition, several processors were excited to learn how our checkweighers don’t just protect consumers—they also reduce product giveaway, saving money in the long run. Precision and efficiency go hand in hand.
Engaging With the Industry
One of the highlights of both exhibitions was the direct engagement with seafood professionals. Many visitors shared the same concern: how to balance production speed with uncompromising food safety.
For example, a processor from Vietnam told us about the challenges of detecting fine bones in freshwater fish. This sparked a great discussion about how fish x ray systems are tailored for exactly that problem. Another visitor from Singapore wanted to understand how a checkweigher could integrate with their existing line. Within minutes, we walked them through how our checkweigher machines can adapt seamlessly without disrupting workflow.
These conversations reminded us why we do what we do. Technology is only valuable when it solves real-world challenges.
The Value of Being There
Exhibitions like VIETFISH 2025 and Seafood Expo Asia 2025 are more than just showcases. They’re about learning, connecting, and building trust. By standing face-to-face with industry leaders, we could demonstrate not just the capabilities of our x ray inspection system or food metal detector, but the philosophy behind Easyweigh: innovation that makes food safer, operations more efficient, and businesses more resilient.
We believe technology should empower people, not complicate their jobs. And judging by the response at both events, that belief is shared by many across the seafood industry.
Looking Ahead
As 2025 continues, Easyweigh and Foodman remain committed to pushing boundaries. We’re not just focusing on x ray inspection or metal detector systems—we’re exploring smarter integrations with AI, automation, and IoT to make vision inspection machines and checkweighers even more intuitive.
Food safety will always be our priority, but efficiency and sustainability are next on the horizon. Imagine a checkweigher machine that not only guarantees accuracy but also predicts maintenance needs. Or an x ray inspection system that learns to spot new hazards over time. These aren’t distant dreams—they’re part of our roadmap.
Conclusion: A Journey of Trust and Innovation
Wrapping up our participation at VIETFISH 2025 and Seafood Expo Asia 2025, we couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished. We connected with old partners, met new faces, and shared technologies that are redefining the seafood industry.
At the end of the day, whether it’s a food metal detector, a fish x ray solution, a vision inspection machine, or a checkweigher, our mission is simple: to help businesses deliver safe, accurate, and high-quality food.
Because food safety isn’t just about machines—it’s about people. It’s about the families who sit down to eat, trusting that their meal is safe. And it’s about the companies who work tirelessly to earn that trust.
We’re grateful to everyone who visited our booths in Vietnam and Singapore, and we’re excited about what the future holds. Easyweigh and Foodman will continue leading the way with solutions that protect, enhance, and transform food processing worldwide.
